The third reef is threaded and ready to go.
Bear in mind that we sail with a one year old so we try to keep as upright as possible. Full sail up to 10 knots apparant. 10 to 15 apparant is first reef. 15 to 25 is second and above that is third depending, of course, on the wind angle. I drop straight to the second reef in the Caribbean as 15 frequently goes to 25 and above and I get hull speed on second reef at 15 knots apparant. |
